Diagnosis

March 2nd, 2019

Mood: Scared 😫

Dr. Schwartz called me today which was a complete surprise considering that it is Saturday.

I have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2b. I am terrified of everything I will have to go through to get the 3 tumors out of me!

I have an appointment Wednesday morning to find out what the next steps will be.

Praying I don’t have to undergo chemo…😥

  1. Hi! I am 7 years out from my cancer treatments. 2, 8 treatment rounds of chemo, 30 radiotherapy (5 very intense) 7 surgeries, including double mastectomies. Don’t eliminate what you have to do to get well. I had same type of cancer, stage 3. You will be well in about a year. You just have to get through one day at a time. Please stay positive. It goes a long way on getting you better.
