Stir Crazy

November 23rd, 2019

Mood: Happy 😁

It’s a rainy, yucky day but it feels so good to be out and about with my sweetie! 💕

I am feeling OK but I am pretty jacked up on pain meds….🤣 I can’t help it, I had to get out of the house!

  1. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My wife was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma and will be undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstruction on January 6h. This is such a scary time as you well know. I have followed your blog to try to learn what my dear wife might go through, I believe in being as fully informed as possible.

I am a nutrition and fitness author, my website is https://davidsway.blog. I have begun documenting my wife’s journey under the menu item No Hill For a Climber in case you might want to check it out, and share ideas and experience. Please, if it is not alright that I shared my website URL here, delete it when you edit my comment.

    1. Thank you for your comment David! I have been writing this blog to not only share my journey with my family and friends, but also in hopes that it will help people like you and your wife.

      1. Thank you, our battle is new to us, despite my wife having had two other cancers successfully removed in the past without issue. Uterine and vaginal cancers, close to 30 years apart. There is something definetly different with this breast cancer. We will not know her staging until her mastectomy next month. I will follow along your journey to learn and hopefully as a means of support too. God bless you.
