I met with my oncologist last Monday, and the PET Scan results are not good. All of my tumors sped up their activity and grew just a tiny bit, but enough for my oncologist to determine that my medication wasn’t working. That last medication I was on is not one he prefers, but it was the last oral medication we could try.
I have to start infusion chemo on April 15th. I will go every three weeks for infusions. I had an echocardiogram today, a consult with my surgeon last Friday and a surgery to put my port back in which is scheduled for 8:00am tomorrow but I need to check in at 6:30 am. Ughhh….you know I won’t sleep much Tuesday night.
